Linda Girvin's lenticular lens photographs. In her pieces, six to ten photographic images taken at different times are layered onto the same lenticular lens film. As the viewer moves, the images on the surface move and change, offering chance combinations and juxtapositions. Similar to the Cubists' belief that our knowledge of an object is built upon all its possible views, Girvin experiments with ways in which photography is able to capture an object, person, or situation completely. She currently lives in Aspen, Colorado.
